![]() Soon after, he formed a vocal group, the Wonder 3, with two junior high boys. ![]() Eventually, a music teacher from Charles Drew Elementary, a nearby magnet school with a special performing arts program, heard of Sammie's vocal gifts and he transferred there at the start of third grade. Fittingly, Sammie's first singing triumph also occurred at church at age four, he received a standing ovation for his performance of "Troubles Don't Last Always." Music was never far from Sammie's mind, even at school teachers would catch him singing under his breath during classes, but encouraged his talent. His mother, a former professional singer, sang in the church choir while she was carrying him. Sammie was exposed to music five years after he was born. Sammie went to high school in Winter Garden, FL at West Orange High School and graduated in 2005. ![]() Sammie is from Tampa, Florida where he attended Nuccio Park, Greco Middle School and William Dandy Middle School in Fort Lauderdale(1998-2000). ![]() The singles had a generous amount of radio airplay. The album included the singles "I Like It (1999)" and "Crazy Things I Do". In 2000, at the age of 13, he released a debut album titled "From the Bottom To the Top", which was originally through Dallas Austin's Freeworld Entertainment label. Sammie Bush, (born in Boynton Beach, Florida on March 1, 1987) is an R&B artist signed to Dallas Austin's Rowdy Records.
